【Research Assessment Symposium】
What is [COMON]? -A Challenge for the Future Supporting Diversity and Sustainability
Kyoto University has recognized the limitations of conventional evaluation systems based on publication and citation counts.
To foster creativity and ensure the sustainable development of scholarship, we have designed a new research assessment system, [COMON], and have been engaging in discussions across our campuses.
This symposium will share these outcomes while also drawing on international best practices, further explore how researchers themselves can co-create and carry forward a vibrant research culture.
We warmly invite you to join us to reflect on how evaluation can nurture the distinctive research culture of Kyoto University.
